Message I use the z1 kit on customer cars all the time. You have another issue and you're throwing money away by purchasing another adapter kit that's essentially the same thing. You need to buy new pintle caps and install them, if you didn't mess with them then they're obviously old and worn, and if they won't stay on when you try to press them on then that's clearly your issue. If your pintle caps are coming off, that has nothing to do with the kit. The pintle caps hold the orings on, so either your pintle caps aren't installed properly, or they're junk or you have a major fuel pressure issue (extremely unlikely). There is no possible way the oring can come through that hole without the pintle cap coming off, and it would require way more psi for the fuel system to force the oring to shove the pintle cap off than the system produces. We are talking over a hundred psi if not hundreds.
